Francesco Balena
Francesco Balena is a Visual Studio Magazine contributing editor, Editor-in-Chief of Visual Basic Journal, VSM’s Italian licensee, author of Programming Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Programming Microsoft Visual Basic .NET, and coauthor of Applied .NET Framework Programming with Visual Basic .NET. Francesco teaches VB .NET classes for Wintellect, and is the founder of the popular www.vb2themax.com Web site. He is also principal of Code Architects Srl, an Italian software company that specializes on .NET development.

Ari  Bixhorn
Ari Bixhorn is the Lead Product Manager in the .NET Developer Solutions division at Microsoft in Redmond,
USA. As product manager, Ari is responsible for technical evangelism and product planning for Visual Studio .NET. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ari worked at British Telecom developing and supporting business-to-business electronic commerce solutions.

Roberto Brunetti
Roberto Brunetti is an instructor and consultant expert in Windows DNA/COM+, Message Queue, IIS, ASP, DHTML and XML. Since July 2000, Roberto has been focused on ASP.NET, developing applications and teaching professional developers how to build server-side code. He’s a regular speaker at major Italian conferences, including WPC, and co-founder of DevLeap (www.DevLeap.it), an Italian Web site and training company offering high-level information for the developer community.

Andrew Brust
Andrew Brust is the President of Progressive Systems Consulting, New York. Progressive specializes in developing and training developers for client/server and other custom database applications. Andrew’s experience includes training SQL Server, OLAP, and Data Mining with .NET, and has been applied in banking, government agencies, small business, and non-profit organizations.

Dino Esposito
Dino Esposito is a ADO .NET expert and a trainer and consultant for Wintellect. Dino worked with Wrox Press on several book projects, including Professional ASP 3.0 and Professional Windows DNA. He’s also the author of Windows Shell Programming, Instant DHTML Scriptlets and Windows Script Host Programmer’s Reference. Chris Kinsman
Chris Kinsman teaches courses on ASP.NET in both VB .NET and C#, and serves as Conference Chair for ASP Live!, part of the VSLive! conference series. Chris is an ASP expert who spends most of his time consulting, and has been working with the technology since it was code-named Denali. Paolo Pialorsi
Paolo Pialorsi is a certified consultant, trainer and author, focused on Web app development with Microsoft technologies. Paolo has been working with Visual Basic since version 1.0, as well as Active Server Pages, COM/ DCOM, HTML, DHTML, XML, XSLT, Web Services, and .NET Framework. He has written articles for PCWeek (now Week.it) and worked with a fellow developer on the Italian translation for Visual Basic 6.0 Power Techniques for Everyday Programs. In 2002 he co-founded DevLeap (www.devleap.com) and continues to provide high-level information to the Italian development community.

Keith Pleas
Keith Pleas is one of the founders of Guided Design and has worked for more than two years on the team developing the .NET Framework and Visual Studio .NET. Keith is an internationally known writer and speaker and is the Editorial Chair for VSLive! 2003. He is also a Visual Studio Magazine contributing editor, and has developed Microsoft Professional Certification Exams. Keith serves as an advisor to the INETA board and is the liaison for the INETA Speakers Bureau.

Christian Weyer
Christian Weyer is a freelance developer and consultant based in Germany. Christian speaks regularly at developer conferences and other events, and he writes German and English articles about the latest and coolest technologies, including is XML, SOAP, and related Web services.
